	Cliff Swallow Nesting Sites
Mara Silver is looking to identify and map sites where Cliff Swallows are nesting in the Pioneer Valley (and throughout Massachusetts). If you know of any active or formerly active nesting sites, please send observations to her at mnsilver2@verizon.net. Thank you!

	Christmas Count
The HBC organizes the Northampton Christmas Count for the National Audubon Society. Those interested in participating or obtaining information about past counts should visit the Christmas Count link.

	Project INSPIRE
While Project INSPIRE is not active at this time, there is a wonderful resource available for birders with limited mobility or endurance: www.comfortablebirdingforall.com Click on "USA" at the bottom of the left-hand side, then "Massachusetts," then "Connecticut River Valley" for an excellent list of sites keyed as: D — the site can be birded from a car E — some easy (low-impact) trails G — guide or tour company willing to modify tours W — the site has some wheelchair-accessible trails (includes E) If you know of other locations that should be added, please let them know.
